HONEY LUNG – EXPORT THE FAMILY
London quartet Honey Lung are releasing their new single ‘Export the Family’ on October 17th. Their second single to be released on Killing Moon Records shows an impressive growth, offering a stripped back sensitive side that contrasts with bursts of the band’s signature ruckus energy with angular and grunge notes. Ending glistening and spacey, with flickers of synths, ‘Export the Family’ is Honey Lung’s most creative effort yet.
The past year has seen the post-grunge band play the Great Escape and Reading and Leeds Festivals whilst receiving airtime from Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1 and appearing in a live session for John Kennedy on Radio X just two months after releasing their debut single. After writing new tracks in Berlin, the band have recorded with Max Bloom (Yuck), toured with Moose Blood before playing festival slots at Bastille Sounds, Liverpool Sound City, Latitude and Tramlines Festival. Honey Lung’s impressive repertoire doesn’t stop there, as they have also seen praise from Louder than War, Dork, The Metro, Clash, Line of Best Fit and many more in a small space of time.
