Liverpool newcomers Zuzu have just released their debut single “Get Off”, and they are set to take the indie world by storm with their unique brand of slacker pop – reminiscent of indie acts such as Courtney Barnett and Elastica.
Lectures is a 5-piece band from Tunbridge Wells, Kent, playing music that has been described as “haunting folk-rock with bursts of passionate instrumentation”. ‘Morning Come Quickly’, the band’s self-recorded debut EP, draws influences from popular alternative artists such as Sufjan Stevens, Radiohead and Bon Iver but also from more left field genres such as drone/ambient music and post-rock.
