GOOD KARMA CLUB, 27TH OCTOBER, THE ISLINGTON

The next Good Karma Club is 27th October at The Islington 1 Tolpuddle Street, starring a stellar line up including:

Sløtface

Slotface are a Norwegian pop rock band consisting of vocalist Haley Shea, bass player Lasse Lokøy, drummer Halvard Skeie Wiencke and guitarist Tor-Arne Vikingstad. Formed in 2012, they released their debut self-titled EP in 2013, and released a second EP, ‘We’re Just OK’ in 2014. They have headlined their own shows, including a DIY Presents show at London’s The Old Blue Last in 2015, as well as Øya Festival.

KING NO-ONE

King No-One are an Indie Rock band from York. They kick started everything in Summer 2013 after uploading tracks to the BBC Uploader. They were offered performances at Beacons festival, and Reading & Leeds festival (BBC Introducing stage), where founder of Drowned In Sound Sean Adams named them as his “Favourite new band”.

GLASS PEAKS

Although their influences are clearly defined, it’s evident GLASS PEAKS are determined to stamp their own mark on the scene. The music is an earnest marriage between raw, energetic passion and methodical, thought provoking articulation. As the band become increasingly revered for their powerful live show, it’s easy to hear and see why so many people are already captivated by their sound.

Albert Gold

Hackney based singer-songwriter Albert Gold is hotly tipped to be the next big thing – with his latest offering ‘Don’t Let Me Go’, being met with acclaim from the likes of BBC Introducing and M Magazine. Having played showcases for The Fix, Tipping Point, BBC Introducing, Sofar Sounds and Blackjack London, this is a live set you don’t want to miss.
