Introducing: Monticolombi – Bellagio

R&B artist Monticolombi brings us his latest track “Bellagio”, a smooth and soulful portrayal of his own feelings around lust and emotion. This vibey casino-royale harmony is a suave and “feel-good” rendition of modern hip hop, creating a light-hearted yet introspective narrative.

Monticolombi’s first release of 2022 , Bellagio, sees the artist’s most evocative release to date. From the smooth intro, to the track dripping with that late night energy, the music’s dismissal of any care in the world makes it an infectious addition to the artists roster of refreshing hip-hop.

When asked about the track, Monticolombi said;

“The Inspiration for this tune was the imagery of those mid 90’s boudoir casino scenes in films such as ‘Swingers’ Featuring Vince Vaughn. That incredibly warm lighting with a bubbling atmosphere and the excitement that tonight, anything could happen ”

 After a rare viral disease caused the artist to have a sudden heart attack at age 22, he was forced to take some time out from music to recover. With a new sound and a new ethos towards life, Monticolombi emerged a year ago.
Opting to focus on life’s blessings, rather than its struggles, his previous release In The Morning featuring Lucy DeBono reflects on a blurry-eyed romance of youth and in October his single Praise was made track of the week on BBC introducing Suffolk.
