TOTD: Lucifer’s Beard – Shake on the Floor
Splicing up some good old rock n roll, Lucifer’s Beard bring us their latest track “Shake on the Floor”, a fun, cheeky, and bop-worthy hit that revitalises British rock. A song built on a foundation of compelling vocals, absorbing guitar work and a powerful rhythm section, “Shake on the Floor” pays homage to British rock roots, while simultaneously driving home a sound that is contemporary, emotive and challenging to define.
When asked about the track, frontman Chris stated; “the ethos behind this song; and future releases from this writing period, have focused on letting go of any cultures and restrictive associations. Just doing what felt right for me and having the freedom to express myself from my own studio.“
“Over the last few years I have built my own recording studio, and this is the first product of that. I worked closely with Ed Ripley (NOFX/Frank Turner/Spice Girls) he also mastered ‘Shake On The Floor’ for me.”
Lucifer’s Beard steal the show by splicing a punk-esque vibe within the rock n roll, while also implementing some moments of hardcore. “Shake on the Floor” is set to be released on 4th April, and is certainly one not to be missed.
