TOTD: ‘Wish You Away’ – Daniel Mauro

Today’s TOTD features the talented Daniel Mauro, a New York based singer-songwriter and producer with an aim to change the pop music industry forever. Known for his distinctive sound and relatable lyrics, Daniel is back with his new single ‘Wish You Away’, which describes the process of coming out of the “honeymoon period” in a relationship. 

Daniel says,

“It’s about finally taking off the rose-colored glasses in a relationship and noticing the flaws. I’ve been in a few relationships where I find myself apologizing for things that I didn’t do, and that is a feeling that I think a lot of people can relate to. I started producing this track with a good friend, Kyle Bezjian, in my home studio. We knew within five minutes that this was going to be special. The chords and sound selection that we created had a magical feel to it and the melodies/lyrics poured out of me naturally. This was the most fun I’ve ever had making a song because of how organic the process was, start to finish.”
