Josh Savage Young Fools Press Shot

PREMIERE: ‘YOUNG FOOLS’ – JOSH SAVAGE

Armed with a stunning voice and sheer determination, Josh Savage has had his fair share of impressive opportunities. 6 million streams on Spotify, support slots with Reverend & the Makers and Catfish and the Bottlemen, and international airplay, all without management or a label, have all helped put Josh Savage firmly on the international music map.

There’s an intimate quality to Josh Savage’s songs. The impressive production on ‘Young Fools’ makes if feel as if he’s talking directly to the listener while backed by expert musicians. Talking about his songwriting, Josh Savage says “When I first set out writing songs, I promised myself never to have the word “love” in them… I would look at couples my age and see fools wasting their youth away, naive in their mushy love bubble that I just couldn’t understand. But I started to wonder – am I the fool?” It’s a classic dilemma, but one that Josh Savage has navigated well. His latest release isn’t cliché, it’s the perfect indie-folk track.

‘Young Fools’ is the kind of radio-ready indie-folk that should be, and has been, heard on radio stations across the world. That’s not to say Josh Savage has sold out; the singer-songwriter has an incredible talent for writing catchy, emotional tracks. ‘Young Fools’ is the first of a number of releases due this year, and Josh Savage has set the bar high.
