Now signed to Novium Records, Bonze has released ‘Jenny (Can You Hear Me?)’. Support from BBC Introducing, remixes from Draper and writing commissions for fashion shows in the past have set Bonze up perfectly for the coming year, and his new single is the first taster of the next era of Bonze.

Talking about ‘Jenny (Can You Hear Me?)’, Bonze says that “It was written with an 80’s-sounding analog synth, a mic, guitar and piano. This song became the foundation of my sound.” Despite all of its retro qualities, there are still hints of modern bands like The 1975 to ‘Jenny’. Its synth and drum machine-based instrumental expertly backs up the nostalgic, emotional vocal work which discusses the ups and downs of romantic relationships.

The latest single from Bonze a danceable yet emotional number that keeps listeners invested from the get-go. Catchy melodies are littered throughout, and Bonze has promised plenty more tracks in the same vein, hopefully in the very near future.
