TOTD: Hayes & Y ‘The Times’
Rich with nifty indie guitar licks and sparkling synth, Manchester band ‘Hayes & Y’ are back with their latest indie-pop offering ‘The Times’.
An infectious bass line underpins the track as Anastasov’s warm vocals perfectly compliment its spirited groove providing the perfect timely backdrop to the latest lockdown news. ‘The Times’ is quick-stepped, taking inspiration from the early 00s indie scene but bringing a fresh focus of disco comparable to the likes of Parcels.
Hayes & Y will certainly be our soundtrack to post-lockdown parties.
