Introducing: Askies ‘Forty-Three’

Hailing from Leeds, alt-rock quartet Askies release their new single ‘Forty-Three’ as a tasty teaser for their hotly tipped debut EP due in the new year. 

Produced by Sugarhouse who have previously worked with the likes of Viola Beach, Pale Waves and Larkins, ‘Forty-Three’ taps into the well-established electrifying indie sphere with its swirling Bottlemen-esque guitar riffs and bold lyricism. Exploring the highs and lows of lockdown life, the band have poignantly captured global-wide feelings of angst and frustration in this cohesive and vibrant track.

With 2 sell-out hometown shows, having already successfully established quite the fanbase in Leeds, the four-piece are on track with full-steam ahead seeing 2020 out with ‘Forty-Three’ in preparation for a breakthrough year.
