RELEASE: Bird Shoes ‘Coven’

What’s up, sports fans. Having a good week? I certainly am. What with absolutely destroying Primavera last week/weekend with my literal hermano and several not-so-literal-but-still-legit hermanos and indeed taking full advantage of the lack of c-words being present this year because y’all decided that the line up was weak (seriously. You’re basing whether you’re going to Primavera on not purely on the line up? Fucking amateurs. You snoozed and you most certainly loozed. Go away from me), further joygasms continued due to the ongoing associated factors relating to how, right now, I am the happiest I have ever been. I think. So releasing this spicy slice of punk’n’roll by Killing Moon duo of hecticity Bird Shoes today in tandem with it landing on the much-coveted New Punk Tracks playlist on t’Spotifyh (the boys first, and y’all know that shit ain’t easy these days seeing as we’re all largely putting for the same hole) sees a continuance of the aforementioned joygasmery. Get into it. Press releasery thingy below innit. Get your free tickets to see the dudes live in London at our free-entry party at Notting Hill Arts Club in London on 25th June 😀

KILLING MOON SIGNEES
BIRD SHOES RELEASE NEW SINGLE ‘COVEN’

TRACK AVAILABLE ON ALL STREAMING AND DIGITAL PLATFORMS

“DIY punk band of the highest order”– Kerrang Radio

Hampshire based band Bird Shoes are set to release their new single ‘Coven’ on the 7th of June, via Killing Moon. Describing themselves as a sarcastic, noisy punk duo for a modern generation of jokers, releasing their debut single in summer ’18, Bird Shoes have already collated support from the likes of Huw Stephens, John Kennedy, Alex Baker and BBC Introducing.

With a prominent ‘down to earth’ approach, Bird Shoes lyrics echo personal experiences with a tongue in cheek attitude. Taking aim at the monotony of the general public’s day-to-day existence, Bird Shoes puts life back into the punk band of yesteryear with new eyes and a slick approach.

BIRD SHOES ARE SET TO PERFORM AT THE NEW MOONS SHOWCASE @ NOTTING HILL ARTS CLUB ON THE 25TH OF JUNE. THE SHOW IS FREE ENTRY.

Bird Shoes comprises Robin Clark (vocals & guitar) & James Gordelier (drums).
