Wild Beasts ‘Cheerio Chaps, Cheerio Goodbye’

The environment in which we work is an important thing, and so is the people we work with – after all, you spend the majority of your waking hours with these people. Some workplaces are downright awful. Some are okay, but add little joy to your life. Sometimes you get lucky, and you find yourself in a home away from home, and amongst family you are not related to by blood or marriage. This is how I feel about Killing Moon, and it’s the reason leaving is going to be such a wrench. But, like all good things, this too must come to an end, and this is the last time you will read a Track Of The Day from me as I embark on a new chapter in my life next week. Writing for this blog every day has been a blast, and I am lucky to have discovered some really amazing music from all over the world. It’s been a privilege to share my thoughts, hopes, annoyances, and my daily life with you readers, and I will miss speaking to you guys every day. Thank you for taking an interest in me and the music I like, and I hope you will stay tuned as I leave this blog in the very capable hands of the rest of the Killing Moon team. In the immortal words of Lisa Simpson, instead of goodbye ‘let’s just call it smell ya later!’
