Emma McGrath ‘Love You Better’
Black and white. Good and bad. All or nothing. I am one of those people who deals exclusively in dichotomies, and lately I’ve found myself taking on everything or nothing at all. Give me a sofa and a day of no responsibilities and I will happily laze around watching TV for days on end, but offer me another task on top of the twenty I’m already doing, and I will absolutely take it. I can’t seem to find that happy medium in between too much and not enough, and one of my goals for this year has to be to find that elusive in between place. I’m guilty of saying ‘yes’ to everything (unless it involves sacrificing precious sleep time of course), and I’ve got to stop doing that for the sake of my, and everyone else’s, sanity. I’m trying not to worry about it too much anyway, I’m sure everything with fall into place, and that’s exactly what seems to have happened for 18 year old singer songwriter Emma McGrath. Having been writing her own music since the tender age of 12 and with several successful releases already under her belt, the young troubadour has just revealed the sumptuous new video for her latest single ‘Love You Better’. With folksy guitars soaked in dark reverb and McGrath’s soothing vocal, the new track is an indication of her knack for writing catchy indie pop love songs, and we can’t wait to hear what comes next. Enjoy.
