Klangstof ‘Resume’

I had such a good sleep last night. Like, really, really good. I feel like a newborn baby, except without all the puking and crying (although the day is still young). If only the weather reflected my good mood, but unfortunately Camden is grey and windy and rainy today, like most days. At least this kind of weather lends itself to snuggling up on the sofa for a Netflix marathon and a glass of (slightly old) wine – every cloud and all that. Right now I’m revisiting a band I have liked for a while called Klangstof. Their 2016 album ‘Close Eyes to Exit‘ was one of my favourite releases of the year, so I’m happy to be finally catching up with their latest output, especially late 2017 single ‘Resume‘. With swirling synths, effervescent vocal harmonies and characteristic unusual chord progressions, the Netherlands band are clearly still at the top of their game, and I can’t wait to see what’s next for them.
