News: Draper Releases Brand New Video For ‘Jealous ft BB Diamond’

With a new EP ‘Luminous‘ set for release on 13th January via M:UK, Draper has just dropped an explosive new video for ‘Jealous’, the second single to be taken from the EP. The track features the hotly tipped singer BB Diamond who honed her craft as a backing singer for the likes of Katy B, Ella Henderson and Jess Glynne. It’s a big, beautiful slice of pop tinged electronica offset by BB ‘s super soulful vocals, now enhanced with a stunning new video.

Premiered via Clash, the video is already taking the internet by storm with its slick Tron-style visuals; the perfect accompaniment to an already brilliant collaboration.

Draper commented, “Working with BB Diamond on this one was a lot of fun, BB nailed the vocals which really helped sculpt the production. It’s quite clear what ‘Jealous’ is about. Any relationship where jealousy is involved can be very hard. Honesty is key and not trusting a person can lead to anger and frustration. This is one of my favourite tracks to play live right now, the chorus always gets the crowd going and it sounds huge playing with my live band“

Kent’s finest export, Draper, has already made a name for himself as a prolific and sought after producer and collaborator who has penned tracks for a number of big names including Rita Ora, Ellie Goulding, All Saints and Twin Atlantic. Early 2016 saw Draper turning his sights back on his solo work. ‘Break Over You’, a collaboration with Prides, was met with critical and commercial acclaim with the track reaching over 1.5 million Spotify plays.  Following the success of the collaboration, the first release from the ‘Luminous’ EP, ‘Want You More’ featuring Pharrell touted singer Sam Sure, was met with accolades across the board.
