Fox Gloves
“Horns”

It’s around that time of year we like to call “days of judgement”. Well, we don’t, but we have just then anyway. There are awards and end-of-year lists to think about. This is particularly relevant given our particular position(s), which we shall try to break down as succinctly as can be. As a blog; we feel we’re doing okay, as in we’re still here writing utter shash and somehow getting away with it. We’re not as immersed into that community as we would like to be, but we’ll work on that when we’ve got a minute or five. As a label; well, if you know us personally you’ll probably know about what a sweet ride we’ve managed to grab lately, and we’ve already put some wonderful plans in place for the immediate-to-distant future, one of which we’ll actually be unveiling to the world-at-large on Monday. So everything’s pretty cool there, albeit we have lost a sense of self-righteousness that we used to value above everything else. We had to feed the monkey though. As an artist management bunch, we’ve learned more in the last year than we have in the previous five, and in truth this is largely due to Draper being such a fucking cool guy in general. As a boy man; well, let’s just say we’ve had to grow up awfully quickly in this past month or two. Anyway, while we’re thinking about life, why don’t you just have a listen to bright new upstarts Fox Gloves and their jiggy-jaggy guitar tune Horns? Yeah, do that. If you do that, you’ll perchance get on the same whiffies of We Were Promised Jetpacks, Editors and of course a birra Biffy Clyro. All of which add up to an indie dream. As is usually the case, we don’t know much about these dudes. A guy called Skip told us about them, and also relayed to us that they’re in the 17/18 year old age-bracket, and are from Cardiff. Cheers Skip. We dig.
