My Vitriol released their debut album ‘Finelines’ in the UK in 2001 on Infectious Records to unanimous critical & public acclaim, with single ‘Always Your Way’ breaking the UK Top 40 – one of three Top 40 singles in their first year. Throughout 2001, My Vitriol’s following hit astronomic heights as the band appeared on Top Of The Pops, as well as notable festival performances such as Reading & Leeds, Glastonbury, V Festival, and T in the Park.

At the end of 2002 after 3 years of solid touring, lead singer Som Wardner announced their hiatus at their second to headline billing at Download Festival, and with that, My Vitriol disappeared as quickly as they emerged.

Since then, the band have made a few highly successful live appearances, including a sold out show at London’s Scala, numerous festival appearances, and most recently a short UK tour in winter 2017.

Having gained a cult status in the indie rock world and beyond, My Vitriol are ready to debut brand new music in 2018 – watch this space.
