Chapter and Verse

“As Rock Star endorsements go, Lars Ulrich is a gold medal… With such vision in place and a feverish following, Chapter and Verse’s glow could quickly turn into a blaze of glory.” – Kerrang Magazine

“The idea of seeing this band headline festivals in the future doesn’t seem at all far-fetched” – Punktastic.

Having just returned from their hugely successful debut UK headline tour, the world is only just beginning to understand what it means to be a part of Chapter and Verse’s ‘New Breed’.

With this swiftly growing community and a shared attitude that looks beyond the music their second EP release has seen the London quintet quickly rise to the forefront of the underground alt-rock scene, garner attention from Metallica’s Lars Ulrich, smash the main stage at 2000 Trees, hit the road with a host of international touring bands (Emarosa, Hellions and Courage My Love to name a few) and have all three singles championed by Radio 1.

The sonically diverse ‘Glow’ EP is an early yet promising look at what Chapter and Verse are capable of. Whilst pushing alt-rock’s boundaries by polarizing the fierce and frenetic ‘Magazines’ against fan-favourite sing-along ‘Ink’ it’s enigmatic frontman Josh Carter’s unique and impassioned vocal that ties Chapter and Verse’s eclectic sound together.
