KILLING MOON CHRISTMAS PARTY, 13TH DECEMBER, CAMDEN ASSEMBLY
After a fantastic year celebrating our 5th Birthday and many successful releases and shows we thought we would celebrate! So come and join us and celebrate Christmas with lashings of Draper, the enthralling electro tones of Anna Straker and the unique vocals of USA’s Laura Brehm.
This is a 14+ show all under 16s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Singer/songwriter and Colorado native, Laura Brehm is revealing more of her true potential with each release. Combining her experience of different music realms so far, her new folk/electronic sound will bring the best pieces of her background to the forefront. Her innovative approach to songwriting and vocal style continue to win over her steadily growing fan base.
Anna began her career singing backing vocals on chart topping singles and albums by the likes of Rudimental, John Newman, Years and Years and Fono. Determined and ambitious, it wasn’t long before she began to fully immerse herself in her own music, leaving school at 17 and moving to London to pursue her solo career. She released her debut EP ‘Serious’ in November 2016 to huge critical acclaim from tastemakers such as Pigeons and Plans, Wonderland, Annie Mac and Huw Stephens. Anna’s live show illustrates what a talented multi instrumentalist songwriter she is. Producing and writing her own music it’s easy to see why she is tipped as being one of the most exciting young talents to emerge from 2016.
Early 2016 saw Draper reaching new heights with ‘Break Over You’, a collaboration with Prides which was met with critical and commercial acclaim from the likes of BBC Introducing with the track reaching over 1.5 million Spotify plays and retail placements in excess of 8000 stores worldwide.
What makes Draper stand out from his contemporaries, is his ability to translate his work in the studio into an exciting and energizing live show, which has led to an impressive resume of live appearances, including Reading and Leeds Festival, and a live ITV broadcast as part of their Formula E coverage. After a successful summer of festivals in 2016 and already galvanised in overwhelming radio support from BBC Introducing, Draper’s presence is only increasing with an EP release via M:UK on the way. Draper continues his love for collaboration on this EP with features including Sam Sure, BB Diamond, Kyko and A.M.E.
