charly bliss

Channeling mid-nineties grunge esque guitars and childlike vocals Charly Bliss brings you a track to nod your head off to. Very much akin to many of the grunge revival bands tunes ‘Heaven’ brings fuzzed out tones, and crash laden drums to bring you back to the era of pagers and Nirvana on MTV. Don’t get me wrong there is a subtle shoegaze vibe to the guitar buzz, albeit in melody form of chunky riffs. Lead singer Eva Hendricks vocals cruise over your ears like a swarm of butterflies over a field of sunflowers, and the lyrics whilst simple, leave the listener in some sort of serene bliss as if you’re attempting to get to the heaven she is describing, maybe it’s back in the days when music was still on MTV.
