Competish: Ticket Giveaway For Static Jacks, Eagulls and Mazes At 100 Club

Been a while since we’ve had one of these kids. But with that in mind, and the Christmas vibe building up slowly but surely within our gangly frame due to the large influx of retailer advertisements on our tellybox, we’ve decided to be that gift that just keeps on giving by teaming up with some PR chums of ours and giving away 5 pairs of tickets for a rather splendid show taking place next week at the world-famous 100 Club. Some of our older readership may remember the 100 Club as that venue that they saw Wham! in back in the day when it was called The Marquee. In contrast, some of our younger readers might know the gaff as that venue that nearly got shut down by “the man” a little while back, until Converse came swooping in to save the day while everyone stood about shouting “HAIL THE CONQUERING HERO”. The key point here regardless of your age-orientated perspective is that it is a venue. Now, in this venue, on Thursday 24th November to be exact, a Converse-sponsored show takes place featuring a line up that includes some pretty stonking bands – previous line ups having boasted the likes of Everything Everything, Gross Magic, The Rapture and Fanfarlo – this next bout showcases KM approvees The Static Jacks, Eagulls and Mazes.

The Static Jacks – Mercy, Hallelujah

Eagulls – Possessed

Mazes – Brunswick Stack

Wanna go? Course you do. Like we’ve almost definitely mentioned already, we’ve got 5 pairs of tickets (or 5 plus one’s in guestlist-speak) to give away – and the fact that the show is free entry is irrelevant, just accept the fact its still a pain in the arse to get tickets (believe us, we’ve tried to work out how, and we failed miserably), hence we’re making life easier for you. Because, as you know, we love you.

All you have to do is email with the subject header AIN’T NO PARTY LIKE A CONVERSE PARTY plus your full name in the email, and five lucky winners will be picked at random. The deal ends at midnight on Wednesday 23rd November. ACTIVATE.
