Olympians
“Foreign Language”

Norwich has added much to the British cultural heritage: Alan Partridge, ITV Anglia, Beth Orton, Delia Smith, James Cox and Cathy Dennis are all prime examples of what the ancient city has contributed to our national distinctiveness (so, musically-speaking, they’re doing alright). Enter Olympians, an illustrious four-piece who play amazing rocky-poppy-keyboardy stuff. So far these boy-o’s have touched down in a few London venues, including Camden’s Proud Galleries and quite recently Brixton’s Windmill venue, where they played a most triumphant set supporting everyone’s favourite Scottish spikey-pop band Danananananackroyd. In addition they’ve been busy releasing a new 6-track EP through the most triumphant indie label Evil Pop, who in the past have brought us the quite-great Reflections Of Elephants. Check out the sweet video for sweet track Foreign Language below.
